Renovations are currently underway for the 2nd floor Central Children's Area. Programs are still being offered as scheduled and there is a temporary pop-up Children’s Area on the northeast side of the 2nd floor (near the Piano Room), including access to collections and train tables. Westdale Branch
The Westdale Branch was originally known as the Western Branch. The Branch opened in June 1957 and was renovated and expanded in 1998. The name was officially changed to Westdale in 1969. The Branch offers materials and programming for children, teens and adults.
The Westdale Branch also has a Seed Library provided in partnership with Green Venture. Visit the Westdale Branch to select seeds, find information about gardening and HPL programs, and harvest seeds to replenish the Seed Library.
