Meet You at Central Library’s Makerfest This Saturday

HAMILTON, ON – November 6, 2025 — Wannabe and skilled creative types of all ages are welcome to convene at Central Library this Saturday for Makerfest, a one-day celebration of creativity, innovation and craftsmanship. The free event runs from 11am to 4pm on Nov 8.

“Makerfest brings together Hamilton’s creative energy in one inspiring space,” said Kat Drennan-Scace, Manager of Digital Technology Services at Hamilton Public Library. “It’s a celebration of hands-on learning, community connection and the innovative spirit that defines our city.”

Makerfest includes live demonstrations, interactive workshops, information tables and a curated vendor market featuring local, handmade creations. Attendees can learn about 3D printing, vinyl cutting, embroidery and audio recording in action, acquire new skills through hands-on sessions and browse items from local artisans.
