Summer is About to Get Steamier at the Steel Town Love Romance Festival
HAMILTON, ON – July 7, 2025 — Love is in the air this Saturday, July 12, 11am-4pm at Central Library as it hosts Steel Town Love, a romance readers and writers festival.
The festival includes author talks, a writing workshop, a curated vendor market, themed craft stations and the chance to star on a romance book cover using green screen technology. Readers can also unwind in a cozy lounge at the Hamilton Farmers’ Market, browse books in our catalogue, or buy from Epic Books, and connect with local writers at an author signing session.

Festivalgoers can also visit the Meet-Cute Market on the 1st Floor, create personalized crafts in the 4th Floor Makerspace and relax in the Reader’s Lounge at the Farmers’ Market from 11am to 2pm.
