As of July 1st, partner library Members can no longer borrow HPL Express items via Overdrive. More to Borrow partner libraries will be offering Lucky Express (Skip the line) titles to their cardholders only. This will help manage wait times for popular titles. Lucky Express is a collection of in demand titles with a seven-day loan period, available with no wait.
Our partners will still be able to borrow titles from the rest of our collection.

All HPL Branches offering Takeout Service beginning July 28 Pickup Your Holds Closer to Home Now
HAMILTON, ON – July 23, 2020 – Each of HPL’s 22 branches is open for Takeout service beginning July 28, 2020.
WHAT: HPL members can place holds for pickup at any branch beginning Thursday July 23. When your holds are ready, you can schedule a pickup time beginning Tuesday July 28, 2020.
WHO: Library members: manage your holds beginning July 23 and when they’re ready, HPL will email or call you. Then you can make an appointment to pick up your holds at hpl.ca/takeout or call 905-546-3200. Pickup dates begin July 28.
WHEN: Phase 3 of Takeout begins July 28, 2020.
