A hands-on spoken word poetry workshop. Be inspired to express your own personal stories through spoken word poetry.

The author of The Agony of Bun O’Keefe presents a heartwarming story of friendship, loyalty and discovery, about a girl who ultimately finds a home in the most unlikely of places. Heather will also share her journey as a reluctant reader turned author and will talk about beginnings, both in literature and in life. Heather’s presentation will end with a Q&A. The Agony of Bun O'Keefee was a finalist for Teen Top Novel 2018.
The author talks about the importance of storytelling and traditional storytelling. She will discuss her novels: He Who Dreams, The Missing and Rez Runaway. He Who Dreams was a finalist for Teen Top Novel 2017.
