Solar Eclipse Glasses - Return to HPL Branches
If you would like to donate your ISO safety solar eclipse glasses, return them to any HPL Branch or Bookmobile visit. HPL and McMaster University have teamed up with the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada - Hamilton Centre to collect and redistribute. Thank you for returning your glasses.

HPL does not solicit paid freelance opportunities through social media or other messaging applications. HPL does not request personal or banking information through social media or require financial compensation when reviewing job applications. Please report phishing schemes to communications@hpl.ca. If you think you are a victim of fraud, please call the Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre at 1-888-495-8501.
Photography
Photography Contest for Kids (ages 5-12). Calling all Shutterbugs! Submit an original photo or image depicting the theme “Play”
Enter in one of the following age groups: 5-8 and 9-12. One winner will be selected in each age group.
Rules & Regulations:
- Limit one submission per person.
- Entries must be submitted by: Saturday September 5, 2015
- Winners will be posted on the Hamilton Public Library Pinterest page.
- Photo editing software may be used, but must be indicated in your entry.
- Size restrictions: file cannot be larger than 1MB.
Please note that entries might be displayed in branch. Entries will become the property of Hamilton Public Library and will not be returned.
